Sheriff Sessions - Live EP (2024)

‘Inspired by ‘Desert Sessions’ my live EP ‘Sheriff Sessions’ is intended to capture the energy and emotion of every live performance. It is a collection of reworks, covers and songs which didn’t fit anywhere else which were recorded all in one room, giving it the most naturalistic feel. It encapsulates my musical journey over my career so far, being a blend of my traditional punk roots and the sludgy, stoner metal sound of my more recent work.’

Guitar & vocals written and performed by Hex Poseur .

Recorded live by Hari Naidoo, Joe Hill, and Luke Ertle-Rickard at Metronome Studios, Confetti.

Mixed and Mastered by Luke Buttery.

Artwork by Frank Sparrow.

Bass - Holly Osborne, Drums - Jacob Wakeling

Stunning - LP (2023)

‘Inspired by sludgy stoner metal and garage rock, my debut LP Stunning is a dark and provocative look into the way women are treated by Hollywood and the concept of celebrity worship. The title itself refers to both the beauty standards women are held to, but also how sheep are killed in slaughterhouses, outlining the comparison of young girls in Hollywood being like lambs to the slaughter – told they will be able to live their dreams, only to be exploited and groomed into a celebrity life.

This album seeks to take down the construct of celebrity worship, peeking behind the curtain at the expectations and exploitation of young women in Hollywood, the irony being that this is what the media leads us to believe we should look up to as children, yet is a totally falsified version of what fame is.’

Guitar, vocals and bass written and performed by Hex Poseur.

Drums - Jacob Wakeling.

Recorded by Zak Plumb at The Big Difference.

Mixed and Mastered by John Naclerio at Nada Recording, Montgomery, NY.

Hearsay - EP (2022)

‘My first EP released on Manic Kat Records, Hearsay is an evolution of my punk and grunge inspired sound, combining more complex rhythms, melodies and a wide range of influences. This EP explores my own personal struggles as a young musician and delves into political commentary in both comical and dark ways. The title reflects the constant noise and misinformation of the modern world, never knowing what to believe, or what choices to be making.’

Recorded by Meri Everett, Noisy Girls Recording, Oadby, Leicester, United Kingdom.

Produced, Mixed, and Mastered by John Naclerio, Nada Recording, Montgomery, NY.

Guitar & vocals written and recorded by Hex Poseur.

Drums - Jacob Wakeling. Bass - Emily Alice
